Today’s #TransformationTuesday is Gina Canakis who lost a total of 150 lbs! She is a blogger who at the moment resides in Springfield, PA.
Her journey started in March 2013 exactly where she began researching weight-loss surgery selections. In order to proceed, she had to shed at least 10% of her bodyweight naturally. She was discouraged but had no selection, she couldn’t stroll without having feeling brief of breath. Gina started losing 1 to two pounds a week and got so encouraged by her progress she decided to continue attempting to shed weight naturally without having surgery. 🙌🏼 Gina’s most significant challenge was acquiring more than her dislike of physical exercise. She began gradually by walking up and down my driveway for about 20 minutes. Quickly, she was walking about my neighborhood, and ultimately, she began to go to the health club and walking on the treadmill. More than time, Gina elevated her speed and steepness and explored new machines like the bike, elliptical and weights. 🏋🏻‍♀️ Gina’s simple meals are as follows: #Breakfast: ¼ plate of cooked protein such as eggs, chicken, beef or tofu, ¼ plate of low-fat dairy or healthful starch, and ½ plate of fruit or veggies #Lunch: Sicilian cauliflower, two oz of protein and a pear or honeydew #Snack: Raw veggies with hummus or mixed nuts #Dinner: Tailgate coleslaw with 2oz of protein such as salmon, chicken, or beef #Tip: I drink 64 Ounces of water day-to-day 💧 She ordinarily eats her biggest meal in the morning, so she can burn it off all through the day and she eliminated all processed foods. 🙅🏻 “There had been instances that I wanted to give up, specially in the starting. What kept me going was my inner voice telling me not to quit even in the face of obstacles and challenges, and it reminded me how badly I wanted to transform my life. Some guidance that I have for other folks when it comes to losing weight, is to start out with tiny alterations. The initial factor that I worked on was my diet. But, I didn’t revamp anything all at as soon as. Preserve a journal of your day-to-day “wins” no matter how tiny or significant, so you can go back and see how far you have come.” #weightlossjourney
